#SLES (Sodium Laureth Ether Sulfate)
One of the common chemical ingredients used in shampoo and bath gel to make bubbles or foam.
It is safe to use but not friendly towards people with sensitive skin problems. It causes skin irritation and acne.
A type of preservative that is used in health and beauty products. Nutritionists have indicated that they will enter our bodies when we use products containing parabens.
Studies also revealed that traces of parabens are found in the breast tissue of 19 out of 20 women studied. Though there is not enough evidence to prove that parabens can cause cancer, but it is confirmed that they can penetrate our skin and remain within tissue.
#Mineral Oil
Looks ‘healthy’ at first glance, but mineral oils are actually derived from petroleum.
They are used to reduce water loss from your skin by clogging your pores, but at the same time trapping bacteria on your skin as well.
Colorant is actually artificial colours and dyes used to make soaps, shampoos, and bath gels more appealing to consumers. It can cause skin sensitivity and irritation. And yes, they can also penetrate through your body.
